Let "NO" help you go!

So every morning my Godfather sends me inspirational and motivational quotes or videos. This morning he sent the one below. It struck a nerve because it is something thst I have dealt and deal with. Not necessarily people saying "No" more so people not saying anything or supporting my endeavors.  I realized that I dont need to be validated by someone's "connections", support, or help. I have gotten to walk in fashion shows in places some girls dream of, I have had photo shoots with photographers and designers that are well known in the fashion world. Heck, I started this blog in December  and I have over 800 page views.  I found myself discouraged and I even contemplated deleting my blog because I felt as if my voice was going unheard.  I started to question why I started it and if doing a blog was even right. I would think "friends" and "family"  would comment and post the site and share my blog but they dont and I KEEP writing. I did not reach people across the world because of their help (because there is none lol) I did it because I am persistent and I believe in myself. I have taken others lack luster of support and turned it into motivation.  This quote will definitely be one of my "go to's" lol. I have been blessed with the knowledge to know my gifts and I CHOOSE  to share and be a positive light for others. Let NO ONE stand in your way. Be encouraged, if someone tells you "no", if they say your not good enough, if no one is helping or supporting, if someone tells you you cant.... Stand up and say I CAN AND I WILL! Believe and you can achieve.Of course its not going to be easy but the fruits of your labor will be sooo sweet!

If you feel yourself feeling low and ready to give up just say this prayer and get up and continue your journey.

God, please help me to stay focused and encouraged.  Lord please give me the strength to continue on the journey to reach my destiny. Help me to look past the nay sayers and the people trying to pull me down. I know that if I stay true and continue to have faith this too shall past. Grant me the wisdom and courage to carry on.
