Check the label...

The term "friend" is used too loosely. Just because you "know" someone for years does NOT make them a friend. A friend is a relationship that is nurtured and one that grows. Facebook calls people that "follow" you friends but the people on your friends list aren't always that. Some are really friends, some are associates, some are business associates, and some are just others.
