Got Faith?

God has a funny way of showing us who is really in control. Some of us say we trust him and have faith but do we really? Or are we giving him bits and pieces of our lives and thinking "Okay,  if he does this then I'll really believe. " but in all actually he has proven himself.  Oh how we forget about the little things like waking us up, how about the fact that our heart is functioning, our limbs still functioning,  still in our right mind. You know, those little things.  Lol. The word tells us we don't even need alot of faith all we need is faith as small as a mustard seed. We're asking to be blessed in miraculous ways and God is only asking for us to have  a teeny tiny bit of faith.  Wow! He's brought you this far, he has not left you yet. Now, there are times when it feels like he has left you and he's distant and that is for him to see if you really believe.  It is a test to see how you are going to act in the midst of feeling alone. The truth of the matter is that he is still there. Just waiting to see if you are going to praise him and know in your heart he has you or are you going to quickly forget and doubt. Having faith is like holding onto your favorite blankie or toy as a child,  it's a sense of security.  Even if you didn't have that comfort item with you, you knew it was right where you left it. Same as faith it is in your heart,  you blindly believe.  Sometimes we have no clue on how something will work out but when  we activate that faith and God pulls us through once again,  all we can do is say " Thank You!" Sometimes immediately seeing isn't believing,  you have to activate that faith, pray,  and believe  to see the solution. So do not lose faith, there's an amazing thing called Grace, and no matter what you have said or done if you ask the Lord for forgiveness he will and he will welcome you home with open  arms.
