Pride will kill you! Do not be deceived thinking you're weak because you apologized first, you reached out first, you called first, ANYTHING that you do first does not mean you are weak, it means you are BOLD and mature enough to take the lead. Usually, in situations where people hurt us we hold onto that hurt and anger as if it will solve something. The sooner you learn and know in your heart that forgiveness is for YOU is the moment you will take a step in a positive direction and begin to move forward. It is easy to hold a grudge and try to display how mad you are or how bad the person hurt you. But once you put your pride aside and face the problem, you will be in a much better situation. Have you ever stopped to wonder why you have been praying the same prayer over and over and pleading for something yet it as if God has you on mute. Well, Job 35:12 states "There they cry out, but he does not answer, because of the pride of evil men." Have you ever thought about your pride being too big, too in the way? I'm sure you have heard the saying, "Don't let your pride get in the way" your pride can hinder your growth. Nothing good comes from evil pride. Pride does way more harm than help. Take some time today to reflect on how to be less prideful. Think of how to heal and move forward and be joyful! No one can steal your joy, but pride can steal your life...
