Worry Much!?!

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? 28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, 29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
Matthew 6:25-34

It's safe to say that worry should not even be in our vocabulary as believer's in God. Verse 27 asks the question which of us by being anxious can add an hour to our life span, the answer is NONE of us. That is a question that should stick in your mind every time you begin to worry or be anxious about something.  I'm not condoning laziness or procrastination so don't think you need to continue to lack a zest to do things. Get UP, Get OUT, and Get to WORK! If you cannot add anytime to your life why are you waisting it on pleasing people,  being in the wrong situationships, friendships,  being mad,  etc.  If our lives can be taken tomorrow why do we put so much reliability into tomorrow?  It's definitely not guaranteed.  We need to evict some thoughts and words out of our minds right now. No more worrying, no more anxiousness,  no more procrastination,  no more laziness take advantage of today and realize it very well may be your last. Stop depending on tomorrow and depend on the Lord. If you cast your cares on him the burden then shifts from you to him, and he can handle it. As soon as you pass it off a weight should be lifted from you and you should be ready to move on. I've said this before that you will get a lot of invitations to pity parties and you DO NOT have to rsvp, especially to pity parties you throw yourself.  You have the power in you through God to conquer anything in your path. The question is do you believe that? If you're talking about how much you believe that God will work it out for your good are your actions reflecting that?  Are you being led to make decisions based on other people or do you and God chit chat before? Do you wait on him to say yes or wait? Look, there comes a time when  we have to stand firm in what we believe.  Too many of us are trying to stand firm on feelings, and feelings change fast, we're trying to build foundations on quick sand (our feelings), and that can no longer be the case. So today is the day, let's no longer be anxious or worry let's ACTIVATE OUR FAITH and make our walk match our TALK, God got this! And he's got YOU♡

GO BE GREAT♡
